Filipa Carvalho Marques has been a lawyer since 2004, with extensive experience in public policy, regulation, and compliance. Throughout her professional career, she has stood out in drafting legislation and regulation in Portugal, particularly in the healthcare sector and in the liberal professions.
She served as Director of the Legal Department of a Professional Order (2005–2021), President of the Executive Committee of the National Council of Professional Orders (2011–2021), and President of the Institute of In-House Lawyers and an Association of the Bar Association (2021–2023). She has experience as a consultant to European bodies and as a guest lecturer in executive education at the Portuguese Catholic University.
