Isabel Cerqueira is a lawyer with extensive experience in Criminal, Family, Civil, Commercial, and Condominium Law, working on both judicial and extrajudicial matters. Since 2004, she has provided legal support to clients on a retainer basis and in private practice, with a particular focus on condominiums and horizontal property, offering solutions that minimize conflicts and ensure the efficient management of common areas.
She has developed expertise in legal advisory, handling judicial proceedings, drafting legal opinions, overseeing notarial acts and registrations, as well as in insolvency, enforcement law, and criminal defense.
She served as a Member of the General Council of the Portuguese Bar Association for the 2020–2022 term, participating in the analysis and drafting of legislative proposals, including laws on LGBTI+ rights, domestic violence, child protection, and gender equality, reflecting her commitment to justice and human rights. She is also a certified trainer, with experience in legal and pedagogical training, and was a legal commentator on TVI (2018–2023).
