José Alexandre Policarpo, born in Évora, is a lawyer with extensive professional experience and strong civic and associative involvement. He holds a law degree from Universidade Lusíada do Porto and practices in the areas of Criminal Law, Family Law, contracts, and road traffic offences.
With more than 2,000 hours as a trainer, he has solid experience in teaching and legal mentoring. He has held prominent roles within the Portuguese Bar Association, notably as President of the Commission for the Protection of Acts Proper to the Legal Profession (2020–2023) and President of the Grouping of Delegations of Évora (2011–2013). He also has local government experience, having served as a councillor and executive member of a parish council in the municipality of Évora.
